As one of the leading manufacturers in the field of industrial floor coverings, the Lichtgitter GmbH opened the Stadtlohn galvanising plant at the beginning of 2001 on the property of its main plant. The aim was to cover the increasing galvanisation requirements for the floor coverings produced, and at the same time to fulfil their own quality standards. In this way, a galvanising plant was created featuring a path-breaking plan concept and the most modern technical solutions – such as the completely encapsulated preliminary treatment. Through the superior performance level of the galvanising plant in Stadtlohn, the Lichtgitter Group once again underlined their own quality philosophy.
Our solutions at the Stadtlohn site
Hot-dip galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing creates a durable, robust layer that protects components from corrosion by immersing them in liquid zinc.
Powder coating
Powder coatings have a high scratch resistance and long durability and are even more environmentally friendly than other coating processes.
Centrifugal galvanizing
Centrifugal galvanizing is the solution for galvanizing and small parts. Centrifugal force is used to remove excess zinc from small components such as screws or bolts.
Duplex systems
Duplex systems combine galvanizing with additional coating and ensure a longer protection period. They also deliver aesthetically pleasing results.
Locksmith’s shop
In our locksmith’s workshop, we manufacture spare parts and consumables for the galvanizing plants of the Lichtgitter Group, certified in accordance with DIN EN 1090 EXC 3.
