Locksmith’s shop
In May 2022, our in-house, state-of-the-art Lichtgitter Group metalworking shop was put into operation at the Heek galvanizing plant. This is where we manufacture spare parts and consumables such as product carriers, crossbars, racks and stacking boxes that have been specially developed to meet the needs of the Lichtgitter Group’s galvanizing plants. We also support the Lichtgitter branch in Stadtlohn with the welding of combination gratings.
Since March 2023, our metalworking shop has been certified in accordance with DIN EN 1090 EXC 3. This standard regulates the strict specifications for the design and manufacture of steel structures.The certification ensures that all load-bearing welded structures that are manufactured in our company are subject to strict controls and quality inspections. Our measures include a factory production control (FPC), which is monitored by qualified test personnel and a welding supervisor.
The EXC 3 execution class allows us to manufacture and assemble load-bearing welded structures that are subject to both predominantly static and non-predominantly static loads. Examples of this are shelves or trusses.
